Here you will find some useful information about our school as well as great links for learning.

School Admissions

All parents who wish to send their children to Five Ways School are required to complete the local authority application form.  The LA admissions policy will determine which children are admitted.  Priority will be given to 'catchment area' children and to siblings of children presently at Five Ways School.  The catchment area is defined by Local Authority, details of which are available either from school or through the admissions department.  Parents of pupils who are not allocated a place may appeal through the standard procedures.  Details of this are also available from the school or from the admissions department.  The school published admission number (PAN) is 90.  Children are admitted to Reception classes in the September of the academic year during which their fifth birthday falls.  Additional information regarding admissions can be found by following the links at http://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/education/schoolsandcolleges/admissions/primary/home.aspx

Nursery Admissions

Pupils may be admitted into the school nursery at the start of the academic year during which their fourth birthday falls. Each pupil gains admission for 3 hours each day (5 mornings a week) from Monday to Friday.  Session times are 8.45am-11.45am. Nursery pupils can access 'wrap-around' care for both lunchtime and afternoon sessions. For more information please contact the school office. The application procedure is through the LA as described in 'School Admissions'.

School Lunches

The school lunches at Five Ways are provided by Staffordshire County Council Catering Service. They provide a 3 week rolling programme of menus that provide children with a variety of healthy food choices. A copy of the menu can be obtained from the school office.
