News: Welcome to Five Ways Primary School

SCHOOL MEAL UPDATE: Due to the high temperatures forecast this week a decision has been made to amend the menu on offer. Sandwiches will be available as normal, the only hot food option will be jacket potatoes. This decision has been made with consideration for the welfare of the Catering Team. Please log on and amend your child's booking on ParentPay

SPORTS DAY UPDATE: Due to rising temperatures, a decision has been made to postpone the Reception Sports Day due to take place on Wednesday 24th, 1:30pm. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The new date is: Friday 3rd July at 10am.

Please note that the Year 1 Sports Day will go ahead on Tuesday 23rd June but at the earlier start time of 9:30am, due to increased temperatures forecast for midday.

Unfortunately, the Year 3 Sports Day has been postponed, due to continuing high temperatures throughout the week. The new date for this is Tuesday 30th June at 10am.

Thank you for your understanding.

Due to high temperatures throughout this week, a relaxed uniform may be worn. This should be either the Five Ways summer uniform, OR the Five Ways PE kit, consisting of: plain black shorts / skort, plain white t-shirt and usual PE trainers. If a jacket is required, children from Y1-Y6 should wear their black zipped PE top. EYFS children should wear a dark coloured top.

Welcome to Five Ways Primary School

Welcome to Five Ways Primary School. As you browse through the information on the website, I hope that you gain a sense of pride from all involved.  Staff, parents and governors work extremely hard to ensure our children love coming to school and feel valued, cared for and guided in all that they do.

All successful schools work in partnership with their parents and community. Five Ways is no exception. We take seriously the views of parents and provide them with termly information about children’s planned learning followed by end of term reports.  Staff ensure that parents are well informed about their child’s progress and any concerns are discussed openly so we can work in partnership to ensure children are happy and reaching their potential.

Thank you for taking the time to look at this website and finding out about our school. I hope you are able to find all the information you require.  However, I would welcome the opportunity to show you around and would urge you to make an appointment to come and meet the Five Ways team to gain a better understanding of our school.
