Reception Admissions

All parents who wish to send their children to Five Ways School are required to complete the Local Authority application form.  The LA admissions policy will determine which children are admitted.  Priority will be given to 'catchment area' children and to siblings of children presently at Five Ways School.  The catchment area is defined by Local Authority, details of which are available either from school or through the admissions department.  Parents of pupils who are not allocated a place may appeal through the standard procedures.  Details of this are also available from the school or from the admissions department.  The school published admission number (PAN) is 90.  Children are admitted to Reception classes in the September of the academic year during which their fifth birthday falls.  Additional information regarding admissions can be found by following the link:

Nursery Admissions

Applications for our Nursery are processed by the Governing Body of Five Ways Primary School. Our Nursery admissions process opens on 8th January 2024 and closes on 15th March 2024. Nursery places for September 2024 are offered to children born between 01.09.20 - 31.08.21. 

There are a maximum of 65 Nursery places, the minimum expectation being that children will attend the morning session each day. Wrap-around care before and after school is available to extend the Nursery provision further.

Children are admitted in the September after their third birthday.

In Year Admissions

If you wish to make an in year application for our school, please complete the in year application form and return this to office@fiveways.staffs.sch.uk and we will respond within 15 school days.
