Recently, KS2 pupils had an opportunity to enter a competition to design a new chocolate bar for the local Heath Hayes artisan chocolate shop ‘Chocolate Treasures’.  Daniel, at Chocolate Treasures, received 548 entries and I am pleased to announce that Evie H, who is in Miss Lane’s class in Year 4, won the competition!  She has won a £50 voucher to spend at Chocolate Treasures, but more excitingly her chocolate bar will be made and available to purchase in the Heath Hayes shop.  Evie’s entry was called ‘Sparkly Smores’ and it contains marshmallows, melted chocolate and crackers.  Evie even designed a lovely wrapper for her bar which will also be used for the actual chocolate bar.
