I am pleased to inform you that we have a pupil in Year 6 in Miss Myatt’s class, who is performing to a very high standard in dance.  Lexi has written an account of her achievements: ‘My name is Lexi Edwards.  I am 10 years old and I love to dance and perform.  I am a member of Style Dance Academy.  On 2nd October, I travelled to Poole to compete in a dance competition.  I competed as a trio and during one of the dance rounds, I had to perform a back flip which I landed successfully.  We came 3rd in this competition!  I then took part in a dance competition with a partner.   We knew we were going to be amazing because we had done so much practise.  After 2 or 3 rounds, we had to perform again which meant that we had got into the final.  Following this, it was time for our awards ceremony and we came 2nd!   I also took part in a ‘fast pairs’ competition with my partner and we made it to the final and came 3rd!  I was very proud to take part in the dance competitions and receive the trophies!’  Well done Lexi!  You are very talented!  Lexi is photographed here holding her trophies – they look outstanding!
