We are delighted to announce that Five Ways Primary School has been involved in ‘The Queen’s Green Canopy.’  This is a unique tree planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 which invites people from across the United Kingdom to ‘Plant a Tree for the Jubilee.’

Our tree planting took place this week, running alongside the international COP 26 conference.  We have planted a mixture of small Hazel, Crab Apple, Goat Willow, and Rowan Trees in the school grounds. We know that planting trees is a great way to ensure we breathe cleaner air and protect our environment for now and future generations.  Please click on the link below to view our tree planting on the map.  Map - The Queen’s Green Canopy
