In October you may remember that a group of Year 5 pupils designed and decorated pumpkins for a competition at our local Tesco store. Pupils gave up some time during their lunchtime for two weeks, to create some fantastic pumpkin designs. During half term, pumpkins from local schools were on show at Tesco, for customers to vote for. I’m proud to announce that our Five Ways pumpkins came first, gaining 880 votes! Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us. I would also like to give a huge ‘well done’ to the Year 5 pupils for their amazing artwork. We have been awarded a wonderful trophy for our Year 5 pupils to keep, which is proudly on show outside Mrs Fuller’s office in the KS2 corridor.
