On Tuesday 11th February it is ‘Safer Internet’ day. 

At Five Ways, we want to educate our pupils about staying safe on the internet and whilst using mobile devices. Time on this day will be used to discuss how pupils can keep themselves safe.   Please support us at home by discussing  these issues with your children and ensuring they know how to ‘stay safe’ and report any concerns to an adult.  In addition, please monitor your child’s internet / mobile device usage and ask them to use their devices in a room where other family members are present so that they can be kept safe.  As a tool to help you keep your child safe when using the internet or their mobile devices, please visit the NSPCC website.  You can access it at https://www.nspcc.org.uk/keeping-childrensafe/online-safety
