You may remember that during October, we took part in ‘International Walk to School Month’ which provided an opportunity for children to join hundreds of thousands of pupils across the globe, celebrating the walk to school.  In addition to this campaign, I am pleased to inform you that Mrs Jones,  who is a parent and a childminder for several children attending Five Ways, combined the‘Walk to School’ month with ‘Walk 100 for Cancer Research UK’.  Together, this small group of children walked 100.93 miles collectively, during October and raised a £110.00 for Cancer Research UK. This is an incredible achievement and one that all involved should be very proud of.
