The month of October was ‘Walk to School Month’ and we asked families to actively participate by leaving their car at home or by parking further away from the school so that more pupils had the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of walking.  The greater number of families walking to and from school, also helps to improve congestion and parking issues around school and the local housing estates.

Classes recorded the number of pupils who walked to school throughout October.  I am delighted to announce the classes with the most ‘walks to school’ during the month of October are as follows:

Early Years Foundation Stage: Miss Malpass’s class

Key Stage 1: Mrs Horton’s class

Key Stage 2: Mrs Darby’s class.
